There are two major ways to fade dark spots, the first
being the natural method with natural ingredients and the second being the
chemical method with chemical ingredients. Both are effective in their own way.
Looking into the natural method, here are 4 DIY’s or
ingredients that can help you clear your dark spots, or acne marks and so on.
This is one of my favourite DIY mask to do, I typically
apply it in the morning and let it sit on my face for an hour, however, you can
let it sit as short as 20 to 30 minutes then rinse it off.
Tumeric contains curcumin which helps to inhibit melanin
production and helps to brighten acne scars and fading hyperpigmentation. It
also helps to accelerate skin recovery and regeneration.
How to prepare this DIY mask:
· In a
small bowl, pour in one tablespoon of honey
· Add
in 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
· Add
in an appropriate ratio of lukewarm water to form a paste and it is ready for
use
The honey in this DIY can be opted out and replaced with
lemon juice, which ever works for you, and you can choose to use only the
turmeric powder and lukewarm water as a paste. Both would work out just fine as
long as you are consistently and efficiently applying the DIY mask.

Rice mask are effective in
fading dark spots because they contain antioxidants like vitamin E, C and
ferulic acids. They also contain an ingredient called allantoin, which helps
even out skin tone and reduce hyperpigmentation.
You can either get the Anua
rice powder and mix it in with lukewarm water to get a nice, creamy paste to
apply over your dark spots for 10 to 20 minutes before rinsing off.

fade out those dark spots. The antioxidants and exfoliating properties
contained in ground coffee will help to brighten up your dark spots and also
prevent further damage or darkening. Due to the harshness of the ground coffee
the honey will help add moisture and hydration to the skin leaving the skin
smooth and bright.

· In a
bowl, mix in 1 tablespoon of ground coffee with 1 tablespoon of honey

this mask on the dark spots and let it sit for 10-20 minutes

If maybe you are not a fan of DIY mask but you’d still
like to clear your dark spots naturally, then you can use vitamin E oil. I
personally have tried this and it has worked for me, however, you need to be
consistent and patient while using it.
Vitamin E oil contains antioxidant properties that helps
minimize inflammation and promote healing. It also helps to fade dark spots and
hyperpigmentation while improving skin elasticity and texture.
Application tips

just one capsule of the oil a day and apply to dark spots
